Tallahassee
is lucky to have an outstanding quilting
guild >  Quilters
Unlimited. The logo at the right is a link to their
site.
The Guild offers
not only social gatherings and place for quilters from
the area (some come from 50 miles away for the meeting) to
show off their artistry, but many of the members are involved
in philanthropic activities, such as make Quilts of Valor for
injured servicemen, comfort quilts for newborn infants at
Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, comfort quilts for the Big Bend
Hospice, and so forth. The Guild offers workshops, a
library, and other teaching opportunities. |
Another
guild in the area is the Wakulla County Quilters Guild .
They meet at the
Wakulla County Public Library,

Friday Meetings are from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
